This blog is dedicated to students of the Faculty of Pharmacy who are preparing to follow the courses and of General Microbiology General Microbiology and Biotechnology Applications in the academic year 2009/2010 . Microbiology is one part of a biological science base, from which it emerged today autonomous scientific disciplines such as molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, immunology, virology, etc.., on the other an applied science in various fields, most notably, but not unique, is the Clinical Microbiology, or the study of microorganisms as agents of infectious diseases.
The study of micro-organisms start from their knowledge in terms of morphological, genetic and biochemical end to the close relationship between humans and microbes.
How do we not succumb to a world dominated by microbes? The knowledge of the human host defense mechanisms will be studied, as well as the weapons that are used in therapy to deal with pathogens, which in turn shall be in place effective "armor." Good
